"After 20 years my kitchen was starting to look somewhat shabby and after seeing the MKM stand at the home show we felt it was a good time to have something done. We are absolutely thrilled with the final result as we felt having a lacquer finish on the cabinetry which was worn and very sticky we would never be completely happy with a makeover. Our benches were worn formica and we chose a new Roxx benchtop and it has made so much difference. "My husband and I had decided to renew our 26 year old kitchen bench. We had seen an advertisement in our local newspaper for MYKM,so e-mailed Lizzie Hockley,who set up an appointment at our home.

Lizzie was very helpful and friendly and showed us samples.for the benchtop,and suggested other ways to modernise the kitchen.We wanted to retain thesolid wood joinery(Tawa),plus the floor was black slate. We went to the MYKM stand at The Waikato Home Show which was extremely useful as there were larger samples to see. We were still unsure of colours so Lizzie very kindly couriered larger samples to our home.Also we could check out colours on the ROXX and GlassArt websites which we found helpful.

Once we had decided, installation was achieved in consultation with other contractors in a timely fashion.We are very pleased with the result and the look that has been achieved.

We had considered other benchtop restoration products but pleased we chose MKYM.The products MYKM offered(benchtop.sink splashback)achieved the look we wanted while meeting our budget requirements."

"We had a new stone bench top fitted and the cabinets painted by "My Kitchen Makeover" and it has totally transformed our kitchen at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement kitchen and without the and hassle.

The bench top is great quality and the joiners attention to detail during the installation was second to none.

The paint finish surpassed all of our expectations and you would never know it hadn't been originally fitted in that colour.

We also purchased a glass splash back which we installed ourselves to save cost, this was delivered securely packaged with all the fitting instructions and glue to complete the job.
